2020 has been an interesting year for us at FXKudi. A challenging one to be precise, but we made the best out of it, and then we could not have done what we have done so far without all the businesses and users we serve.

Here is how our 2020 went

February; We launched!

We set out to launch on 23rd February 2020. Well, this was before the pandemic got hold of the world and forced us all into unusual activities such as remote working, but as we earlier stated, this has indeed brought out the best in us.

We launched with money transfer service to connect you and your family together through a simplified means of money transfer to family and friends. But wait, did we forget to tell you that we launched with only 23 active users of our service?. Yeah, you heard that right, we launched with only 23 active users.

March; We introduced FXKudi card.

At this time, the pandemic already affected how we operate and serve our users but we wanted to still give you more because we have more to give. We introduced FXKudi card which is a virtual card that allows users to create personal dollar cards for global payment. This virtual card is not limited to personal use, businesses could also create a business card for staff and for different business purposes.

This helps businesses and other users pay for Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Shopping on Amazon, eBay, Aliexpress, Alibaba, Uber, Lyft, and many more international platforms, anytime, anywhere.

April; Loyalty Program — Refer to Earn

Still, in the condition of operating remotely and staying focused on serving you better at the peak of the pandemic, we introduced a loyalty program to reward our users when they refer their friends to FXkudi. You can read more here

June; We raised a $100,000 seed fund

In June, we raised a seed fund of $100k which we are excited about. We laid out what we were going to use the funds for and elucidated on our commitment to serving you better each time. Kindly read more here

July; We launched GoCashless Africa

We always had in mind to make payment simple for businesses across Africa, but we have to start from home, Ghana. During the pandemic, many entrepreneurs and small businesses are struggling to keep up with the competition in their industries by having a simplified and secure means of payment collection in their respective businesses. So, we launched GoCashless Africa to do away with the cumbersome steps required to start accepting payment online. We intend to make every step easy and make life convenient for those businesses and those they serve.

November; We announced our $1m milestone

After we launched starting with 23 active users. Well, we grew from that to over 4000 users before this time. We then announced our volume of transactions so far from all our products and services. It is interesting and we are grateful for your loyalty to us. Read the full article here

December; We introduced FXKudi card-to-card dollar transfer & Withdrawal from card

As long as we want to ensure that all our users have control over their funds on their cards, we saw the need to create a tool that allows them to withdraw all idle funds in their card to their local currencies in Naira or Cedis. We also made sure that the same tool could allow them to transfer dollars from their own card to their friend’s. Well, this is a way to send and receive dollars without a US bank account or probably without a bank account at all.

Wait, did you think we did this because we thought it was necessary?. NO, we listened to the request of our users before rolling this out. We launched a survey intended to know what our users want to see, and yes they requested this feature and we created it for them.

The most interesting thing about 2020 is that every success happened at an obviously difficult time, and we have all our users to thank for what we have done together thus far.

We are excited about what we will do together in 2021, and we are looking forward to a more healthy and beneficial relationship between us.

Cheers to a more exciting new year!.
